Clint's fiction has been published in the anthologies, Red Stains and Dust, both from Creation Books of England, and in various Canadian magazines. Several of his short theatre pieces have been produced in Victoria. The Beautiful Dead End is his first novel.

Clint was born in Cumberland, Ontario and lived for a brief time in Bogotá, Colombia before moving to southern Alberta with his family. He moved to Victoria in 1985 and there co-published Mental Radio, a sporadical magazine of writing and art. With Artdog Press, Clint was a founding member of the Small Press Action Network. He is also co-founder and artistic director of the Tic.Toc International Festival of New Performance. He has a BA Honours in English and Creative Writing from the University of Victoria.
